Quetta board is main board functioning in the province of Balochistan as Quetta is capital of Balochistan. There was a dire need of educational system controlled by administration therefore BISE Quetta board was established it was formed in year 1979 under the ordinance act as BISE stands for Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education its main objective is to provide students with Secondary and Higher Secondary education. Thousands of students appear every year for SSC and HSSC examination. Its main objective is to provide students with a platform to carry out their higher studies. They are working day and night to make progress with modern changing world. Board is always providing students with fair environment. Quetta board is confined to following jurisdiction, districts at present BISE Larkana conducts examination within its jurisdiction. Other Taluka’s under Larkana board are Quetta, Makran, Kalat and Kandahar.
Administration keep a check up of affiliated institutions that either they are working properly or not. There are many government and private institutions affiliated with Quetta board. Teachers are trained properly to make students able to appear in examination. This board is working as autonomous body. Admissions for students start almost two months before examination for admission students have to fill forms these forms are made available at affiliated institutions and online forms are also given for students convenience to fill them at home easily. Admission fee is also affordable criteria of the board is that students of SSC and HSSC part I must be registered with following board.

Subject and syllabus is given by board and books taught are recommended by government in different languages English, Urdu, Local dialect and also some classical languages. Exams are also conducted in these languages not neglecting mother tongue. Examination consist of three portions section A,B and C with MCQ’s, Short questions and Long questions. Examinations for matric are in month of February and March mentioning about intermediate they are in month of May and June every year with fair environment provided. Checking for examination is done in three months approximately and result announced for matric in July and for intermediate in August with good result for everyone and also average good results.
There are vast number of groups at intermediate level as in matric there are only two groups arts and science and for intermediate they are pre-medical, pre-engineering, commerce, computer science, general science and arts. For deaf and dumb students board offers facility at SSC level to carry out study and appreciate them of their capabilities. Students who top in examination are awarded with prizes, awards and scholarships to appreciate them and to motivate others to step forward to be next to won. Other scholarships are for students who can’t afford to carry out education. Board plays a main role by collaboration of chairman and its administration to bring students forward with bright future.
